I am so sorry that things did not go to plan with the windows. How frustrating and demoralizing. Very difficult to be constantly chasing up on things. Without going into details husband and I have been dealing with some financial and some legal issues that should have been straightforward but due to incompetence have stretched out so long it’s pathetic. Poor Ade. I am sure he has probably tried steaming over a bowl of hot water with a towel but may I suggest, if he hasn’t already tried it, buying some Olbas Oil from Boots the Chemist, and adding a few drops to the water. Where we live in Northern California is dreadful for allergies. Steam inhalation with Olbas is the only thing that shifts my son’s allergy headaches. My mother used it on us when we were kids when we had colds.

Hey Lisa, not been on here for a while, sorry to hear about your health scare, I’m not surprised they started you on a medication given how high your BP was, but I am surprised that they did not start you in a lower dose! Hope you are starting to feel better and that they are monitoring it now. Try and take it easy xx

We moved to a new build In Dec 2017. In 2018 I was diagnosed with cancer. We moved to a bungalow last November and my husband has been diagnosed with skin cancer. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Omg! You bought some bits and bobs from back home! The soya sauce is what I grew up with, it’s a posh soy sauce from back home. The prawn crackers brings back memories of me buying them in my local “tindahan” for 1 peso . I love them in sticks form or flakes.. 😊 I love going to Asian shops, but always end up spending up to £50 buying stuff from back home.. 😊😬

I have lived in my new build about 4 months longer than you and most of my snags have been rectified. To need so many windows replacing must be very stressful for you. You have been very patient with your builders but I do think after this latest problem that you should insist that someone senior from the building company should come to see you as a matter of urgency to find out what on earth is going on. It may be that the Windows all had faults but could it also be as a result of careless cleaning before you moved in? Could this also have been the problem with your scratched j hob? I notice that your fridge is still freezing produce - did you not get anywhere with the manufacturer under warranty? As mentioned previously a neighbour had their fridge-freezer replaced for the same problem. I'm sorry to hear of your recent health issues and do hope that your GP surgery can stabilise you soon. You have both been full pelt since you moved in and also work full-time. This will have an effect on your health, especially if you are fatigued. Do try to take regular breaks for down-time to recharge your batteries.

Is it possible that you could be dealing with long covid, these are some of the symptoms erratic blood pressure.

I think we could see your blood pressure getting higher as you were trying t to do everything while your dad was here. My husband takes tablet for it and you can see the rise in his fact when he feel trapped into doing to much. On another track my hubby has had what can only be described as the flu since Christmas. Full head , headaches sneezing and coughing. He has had a PET and has sinusitis as he can’t take Sudafed due to high blood pressure they have recommended a diffuser in his desk as he work. Would some sort of see water smell help Ade. I hope you are both getting well and enjoy America. Have you vlogged yet where you’re going/doing. Or have I missed that one.
